If you're looking for Japanese, Hello Guppy is definitely the one. A small Japanese place located in the midst of BKC, it is not too difficult to find really. Firstly, I love the pop decor. It gives me the typical Japanese feels.Every table is in a different decor which makes it really fun and interesting. I found the menu of Hello Guppy to be quite interesting - it had so much variety from sushi to donburi bowls to ramens and of course the charm being their mouthwatering desserts. The staff was kind enough to help us order the chef's top picks which were quite unique.

We started off with two mocktails- The ElderFlower Forest Presse and Cantaloupe which were absolutely delicious. They had the perfect sweetness to it which balanced with the pungent taste of the wasabi. To accompany that we ordered California and Spicy Salmon Sushi rolls which were mouthwatering. You must try this if you're fond of sushi. Also it was prepared specially with black rice which is perfect for all the health conscious people out there!

For the mains, we opted for a Grilled Chicken Breast Donburi Bowl which was glazed with orange teriyaki. This was an absolute heaven. The other main that we ordered BBLT Ramen Burger which was quite different from your normal burger. They swapped the bread for a ramen patty accompanied with pulled pork , bacon, tomatoes, lettuce and cheese. This was so dreamy, like Japanese burger really? And plus point, without any bread. Perfect!

To end with, we were presented with the Mango and Raspberry Parfait - absolutely perfect for the health conscious people again.

As you all know, I have a major tooth so we also chose the Chocolate Fondant. It is literally one of the best goey chocolate cakes I have ever tasted. It was served with a homemade cheesecake ice cream which was tooo delicious and made the perfect combination with the molten lava cake.

Finally, the typical Japanese place has arrived in the city and it a good place to chill and meet up your friends.

Until next time!
